Competitive upgrade for existing EMC HomeBase users... Cristie Software is offering EMC HomeBase users a low cost option to migrate to NBMR (Bare Machine Recovery for NetWorker) or CBMR (Cristie Bare Machine Recovery) for non-NetWorker users. EMC announced end of life for their HomeBase solution on 12th August 2012, with maintenance and support also being discontinued later this year. The cost of the upgrade is only US$100 per license which includes 12 months maintenance. This is often less than the maintenance cost of HomeBase licenses alone and is a massive discount to the normal list price of NBMR/CBMR of US$700 per license. But hurry this offer is only available for a limited time! Cristie Software strengthens relationship with IBM as products are included in Passport Advantage®

From the 27th November 2012, Cristie’s CBMR and TBMR software products will now be available to order through Passport Advantage®.  This will significantly simplify the quoting and ordering process for both IBM and all IBM channel partners.

CBMR and TBMR deliver best-in-class BMR software that provides fast, automated disaster recovery – whether to similar or dissimilar hardware.  TBMR fully integrates with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager and can recover directly from TSM without having to perform separate backups.  This provides considerable savings in storage space and network bandwidth.  CBMR and TBMR will typically restore server operating systems in less than ten minutes and are able to perform multiple server recoveries simultaneously.
